One of the great advantages of a villa holiday is the avoidance of too many transfers, and consequent need to unpack, pack and lug heavy luggage between destinations. Having said that, we remind our prospective villa guests of the benefits in travelling as lightly as is comfortable and preferably having only two pieces of luggage per person. We also remind our prospective guests that Italy is a great place to shop and even the most discerning traveller will be tempted by the clothes, shoes, ceramics and other beautiful things on offer. Our villas are very well furnished and will accommodate the requirements of most travellers as regards furniture, utensils, and house linen. In the following list we seek to provide a checklist on other things we consider could be required for a comfortable holiday and leave it to your judgement to decide what is necessary: For the trip: Inflatable cushion, eyemask & earplugs Magazine, books Sleeping pills Travel guide Document pouch Passport, visa International drivers license (if hiring) Insurance documents or policy Accommodation voucher Money, travellers cheques, credit cards When you get there: Toiletry bag Small medical kit Small sewing kit Spare glasses Electrical adapters Voltage converter Travel hair dryer Torch Travel clock Swiss army knife
